1. Can I bring my own skates? Are roller blades allowed?

Yes, you can bring your own skates and you will only be charged for admission to the skating rink. Yes, roller blades are allowed.

2. Do you rent skates? What sizes do you carry?

Yes, you can rent roller skates at the Southern Skates Roller Rink. We carry sizes 2 child up to size 15 adult.

3. Do you sell skates?

We do not sell skates, however, our knowledgeable staff will be able to direct you to vendors who sell and repair roller skates.

4. Do you allow "in/out" privileges?

For the safety of our patrons, we do not allow "in/out" privileges. Should a patron leave the facility, he/she will be required to pay the regular admission fee to gain re-entry.

5. Is alcohol permitted in the building?

No, alcohol is not permitted on the premises of Southern Skates Roller Rink. For the safety of our patrons, our staff reserve the right to deny entrance/remove anyone who appears under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

6. Is Southern Skates available for private rental?

Yes, the rink is available for private parties, corporate events, church events, and school events, and nonprofit fundraisers. Call to get our prices on the various private events and programs.

7. Is there an age requirement to skate?

We have all ages skating, from 1 year olds to 80 year olds. We do ask that all participants on Thursday’s adult session are 18 or older but in all other sessions we welcome all ages.

8. What type of food do you serve?

Southern Skates has snack bar which sells prepacked refreshments.  Menu prices and items are subject to change without notice.

9. May I bring outside food or drinks into Southern Skates?

We do not allow outside food or drink into the facility, with the exception for birthday cakes when a birthday party package is purchased or when a private party is scheduled. If you have any questions or concerns on this topic please call for more info.
